Hi, my name is Blaine Fahey and I'm a 22 year old living in Champaign, Illinois and I'm currently enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I'm an experienced UI designer and I've recently started doing back-end work using Ruby on Rails.

Ruby on Rails

I recently started using Ruby on Rails for web development. I write every line of code by hand and I adhere to MVC architecture and DRY principles. Rails is perfect for websites that are more complex than your standard WordPress blog.

WordPress

When I first started doing web development I began with WordPress. WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform that focuses on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. As always, my website are built from the ground up using valid, cross-browser CSS / XHTML.
